Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands situated on the western shores of the Arabian Gulf. Bahrain lies 14 miles (22 kilometres) off the eastern coast of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to which is connected by King Fahad Causeway and 17 miles (28 kilometres) from the coast of State of Qatar. The name Bahrain means "two seas" in Arabic, which refers to the natural springs of sweet water rising from beneath the sea which were used by the country's famous pearl divers.Fact Sheet

- For all other Nationals - prior visa arrangement is required and approval normally takes minimum 7 working days.
